GCA Fellowship
Language-based social sciences, humanities, and area studies on China from global and comparative perspectives.

In 2021, at the 7th Global China Dialogue – Reforming Global Governance, the Global China Academy successfully completed its institutional transformation, establishing an academy system with Fellows at its core and publishing and dialogue as its two principal platforms. This transformation has provided a solid institutional foundation and affirmed the Academy’s leadership in research on China from global and comparative perspectives. Through a formal Fellow selection mechanism, together with English and Chinese dual language publications and a series of global dialogue forums, the Global China Academy has established an open, high-level platform dedicated to fulfilling its dual mission: advancing human knowledge as its academic mission and contributing to global governance as its social mission.
GCA Fellows 院士 are distinguished scholars, academics, intellectuals and professionals whose expertise and knowledge provide Global China Academy with access to the best possible advice and guidance. They also contribute their work to the publications of Global Century Press and the Global China Dialogue series of forums.
GCA Associate Fellows 副院士 are typically early to mid-career scholars, academics, intellectuals and professionals who have demonstrated potential in their field but might not yet have the extensive accomplishments or tenure of a Full Fellow. They often collaborate on research projects, contribute to publications, and may participate in dialogues or forums.
GCA Institutional Fellows 单位院士 including both academic or Professional and corporate organisations. They share Global China Academy’s academic and social missions, and support the work of Global China Academy, Global Century Press and the Global China Dialogues series forum.
