The social mission of the Global Chinese Academy (GCA) is to transcend academia to promote understanding and cooperation between China and the rest of the world. It is committed to encouraging young political and business leaders to participate in dialogue and training them to play a significant role in society building and governance within the global society, based on informed knowledge.

• The Global China Dialogues (GCDs), our annual forum, provide a dynamic discourse platform to realize our commitment. These dialogues are designed to encourage communication and foster relationships among scholars, policymakers, business leaders, and the public from China and the global stage. In doing so, we aim to contribute to the construction of a more integrated, inclusive, and enlightened global community. Public engagement, knowledge transfer, and social consultancy are key components of our approach to ensuring that research impacts practice and contributes to the betterment of global society.
• GCA has been a supporter for Campaign for Social Science by the Academy of Social Sciences, working to improve public policy, society and all our lives since 2014. 
• GCA has been a supporter for Speak to the Future: The Campaign for Languages since 2013. This campaign is national initiative aimed at raising awareness about the importance of language learning and language skills in the UK. Launched in 2011, it is supported by the British Academy and other organizations such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists. The campaign seeks to emphasize the role languages play in education, professional development, and global communication.
