About GCA Board of Trustees
Global China Academy’s Board of Trustees holds responsibility for strategic and legal oversight of the conduct of the Academy.
As a UK Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO, Charity No. 1198983), GCA is governed by a Board of Trustees, who are responsibile for running the organisation in accordance with charity law, and for making risk assessments and taking the lead in implementing appropriate action if any risk should occur.

The Board of Trustees
Global China Academy’s Board of Trustees consists of six people.
- Chair of GCA Board of Trustees, Life Fellow of GCA; Senior Research Associate of the Contemporary China Studies Programme, University of Oxford
- Secretary of GCA Board of Trustees, Graphic Designer of Global Century Press. Art Director for Equinox Publishing, and Director of Artful – Make It Happen.
- Treasurer of GCA Board of Trustees; Principal Teaching Fellow of Technological Transformation at Imperial College London, UK
- President of Global China Academy; Editor-in-Chief: of Global Century Press; Honorary Professor of University College London (2015–20).
- Trustee of GCA Board of Trustees; Director of Centre for European Reform; Former Director of the British Council, UK.
- Trustee of GCA Board of Trustees; Country Head of Greater China; Board & CEO Advisory Sector, Russell Reynolds Associates, USA
