The 9th Global China Dialogue (GCD IX), focusing on ‘Global Governance for AI,’ aims to address the pressing challenges and opportunities arising from artificial intelligence in the context of global governance. Building upon the success of GCD VIII, which centered on ‘Governance for Global Health,’ GCD IX will explore how AI impacts various aspects of The 9th Global China Dialogue (GCD IX), focusing on ‘Global Governance for AI,’ aims to address the pressing challenges and opportunities arising from artificial intelligence in the context of global governance. Building upon the success of GCD VIII, which centered on ‘Governance for Global Health,’ GCD IX will explore how AI impacts various aspects of global society, economy, and geopolitics.
The dialogue may include diverse panels discussing AI’s role in healthcare, economy, ethics, and international collaboration. Experts from various fields, including technology, policy, academia, and business, will provide insights on AI’s transformative potential and the need for effective global governance mechanisms. Emphasis will be placed on AI’s ethical implications, data privacy, and the balance between innovation and regulation.
The 9th Global China Dialogue: ‘Global Governance for AI,’ will integrating key topics to navigate the future of AI in society. Proposed panels are:
- ‘Smart Media Cities and Global Governance,’ focusing on AI’s role in urban development and international policy;
- ‘AI and Human Development,’ examining how AI influences personal growth and societal progress;
- ‘AI Regulations and Ethics,’ discussing the need for ethical frameworks and legal structures in AI; and
- ‘Future Social Governance and Human Management,’ will delve into the impact of AI on societal structures and the management of human affairs.
Networking sessions, keynotes from AI industry leaders and policymakers, and workshops on AI application in various sectors could be part of the event. GCD 9 aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of AI’s global impact and cultivate a collaborative approach towards responsible and ethical AI governance.
