The Global China Dialogue (GCD) Series
The Global China Academy (GCA) cordially invites institutions and organizations worldwide to join the Global China Dialogue (GCD) series as partners. As an annual high-level international platform, the GCD addresses major global challenges from interdisciplinary and transcultural perspectives, exploring issues through Chinese and comparative lenses.
Each annual Dialogue focuses on a specific global theme within the broader framework of global governance and international cooperation.
About the Dialogue
Each Dialogue convenes representatives from academia, government, industry, and civil society to engage in in-depth discussion of global challenges and governance issues in a rapidly changing world.
The Dialogue promotes comparative perspectives across regions and systems, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, interdisciplinary exchange, and constructive global engagement.
Institutional Structure
The Global China Dialogue is a long-term, institutionalised platform supported by a core partnership network consisting of its organising committee, supporting institutions, and sponsors committed to global governance issues.
To streamline coordination, existing partners are considered continuing participants by default unless they notify us otherwise. Their partnership status and associated privileges are retained for each Dialogue.
Each Dialogue also welcomes new partners with relevant expertise to contribute to the planning and implementation of theme-specific programmes.
This dual structure ensures both continuity and flexibility, supporting sustained collaboration alongside dynamic thematic engagement.
