Progessor LI Linxue 李麟学教授, PhD, tenured Prof. of Tongji University, dean of College of Arts and Media of Tongji University, PhD supervisor at College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, director of Center of Energy and Thermodynamic Architecture, Tongji University, co-chair of leading interdisciplinary program of Low-Carbon Cities and Green Buildings, high-level visiting scholar of Graduate School of Design Harvard University, visiting architect of the Presidential Program ’50 ARCHITECTS EN FRANCE’, and Graham Wills visiting professor of School of Architecture at University of Sheffield.
He is co-author and deputy editors-in-chief of Urban Waterfront Research: 30 Years (2023), Thermodynamic Vernacular Architecture (2023), Thermodynamic Architecture and Body (2023), Contemperary Media Theory from Mondial Perspectives Series (2023), Urban – Rural Communication (2023), Thermodynamic Architectural Prototypes (2019), Air Through the Lens of Thermodynamic Architecture: Design against smog (2016), Shanghai Outstanding Young Architects – LI Linxue (2019).
His works have been selected in many expositions, such as ‘Internal Construction’ in the exhibition in the Pavilion of PR China at the 17th lnternational Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia (2020), and Harvard University Contemporary Chinese Architecture Exhibition (2018). He has published more than one hundred journal articles and led the construction of Hangzhou Civic Center and other important design works.
