A presentation on The future of global technology governance was delivered by Professor Madeline Carr, Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering Science; Director of the UK-wide Research Institute in Sociotechnical Cyber Security (RISCS), University College London
Mr Nigel Inkster, Senior Adviser for Cyber Security and China, former Director of Future Conflict and Cyber Security at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) spoke on Digital security in an age of ideological conflict
Dr Xiaobai Shen, Senior Lecturer, Business School, University of Edinburgh, UK, presented his speech online. The topic was Digital virus, antigen and antibody: building intellectual immunity and people-centred digital infrastructure
The final contribution to this panel was also delivered online. Professor Rong Ke, Deputy Director of Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, China, spoke about the Digital economy, global co-opetition and new growth drivers
